Artificial Plants Wholesale

People to whom growing plants comes easily and pleasantly are said to have a hand in flowers. Their plants bloom most of the time and grow like yeast, making them a beautiful natural decoration for the interior. At the other extreme, however, are people who love flowers and would like to use their ornamental qualities in space arrangements, but do not like and cannot care for potted plants. Fortunately, there is an interesting proposal available on the market for all those who appreciate green accents in interiors. And even two proposals! We are talking about artificial plants on the one hand, and on the other – about a novelty on the Polish market, namely stabilized plants.

What are stabilized plants?

Stabilized plants are “time-stopped” plants. They are obtained after the live plants undergo a stabilization process – the lymph is replaced in them by a glycerine-based solution.

Carefully selected specimens are soaked in large vats and then dried. The flowers are dyed with natural pigments. Plants prepared in this way are durable, do not dry out, do not attract insects, and do not require any maintenance. This makes them “something in between” living and artificial plants. They can be found in apartments, offices and public spaces. Stabilized mosses and lichens are often used in arrangements, and stabilized flowers – roses – are an interesting gift idea.

A difficult choice?

Artificial and stabilized plants have a lot in common. First of all, they are “maintenance-free” – you don’t have to take care of them or groom them. Stabilized plants only need to be gently swept from time to time, and artificial plants need to be washed or vacuumed. Temperature changes are not a problem for either artificial or stabilized plants, so you can choose any species for your arrangement – a big advantage, since not every living plant will be comfortable in the place where you would like to see it. A minor limitation for stabilized plants is humidity (should not exceed 70%) and sunlight (they can fade in full sun). Since artificial and stabilized plants do not grow, the decoration made of them is durable and does not change shape. Both types of plants can be used to make a green painting or used in vertical gardens. Stabilized plants are very durable – a stabilized rose can be enjoyed for approx. 2 years, and a wall of mosses and lichens much longer, even approx. 10 years . Only artificial plants are more durable.

Both stabilized and artificial plants have their advantages. Most importantly, they look very striking: the former retain their softness and naturalness despite the stabilization process, and the latter deceptively imitate live plants. If you opt for artificial plants, it is worth choosing the highest quality ones – made with attention to the smallest details.
